Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? I hope
you've had a fantastic weekend, are you ready for a new fantastic
week to start? Abit of good news, I am attending a job interview this afternoon, fingers crossed for me please, I'd really like to work at this place!
Today's nail art is another one from
last year (told you I schedule my blogs insanely!) I know I keep
mentioning my stubby nubby nubbin nails but these do look really
short compared to what I am used to! These do fit in with the current
theme over at Tiny Canvas which is daisies.
I've also added a tutorial video below on how I paint this style of flowers. I find them quite relaxing to paint - roses on the other hand, argh! Frustration city!
For this manicure I began with my OPI
Nail Envy base coat. I allowed this to dry and moved on with two
coats of China Glaze's 'Sunday Funday' – I've always loved this
shade! I then created a sort of black smokey look using Q-tips and
copious amounts of black acrylic paint watered down. Once this way
dry I added a thin coat of Polish Me, Royalty's 'Unicornicopia' for
a subtle holographic sparkle. I then painted the flowers and letters
on top. I sealed it all in with a coat of my Pro-FX top coat to seal
in the art.
It kinda bugs me seeing my nails being
so inconsistant in shape from post to post but I didn't want to not
post nail art designs just because of that. Now I *think* that
is the last one from last year..
What do you think of this
daisy nail art? Do you like flower designs on nails?
Thank you so much for visiting today,
be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments. Have a fantastic day
and I'll see you again on Wednesday!
Love,
Ithi
This design is perfect for spring! I love the daisies and they look so delicate and pretty! I especially love the sparkly blue color around them!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute design & makes me ready for Spring. 🙂 I liked your video! Roses do seem really frustrating to paint. I hope your job interview went well! 🤞🏻
ReplyDeleteI'm soooooo glad you added a video Ithi. It was fascinating to watch how you do your nail art and the way you add the highlights in such tiny bits. Amazing. Roses are difficult enough to paint on a normal sized canvas, never mind such teeny tiny ones on a nail. Stunning. Holding thumbs for the interview BTW
ReplyDeleteOh, I really like this daisy nail art for my nails. It looks really cute. You are so creative girl. Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteOMG!! This daisy nail art is so lovely. I really like that to my nails. I really like watching your video. Glad you share it.
ReplyDeleteYou are talented and amazing. I can't seem to paint straight one color let alone the fantastic art on each individual nail. Wow!!
ReplyDeleteThis blue is my favorite shade of blue and with your art it just enhances. Soooo pretty. I loved the video. There is soooo much detail in your work.

ReplyDeleteHello Ithi! I love your daisies! watching the video it *seems* easy to do, but I know it isn't! At least not for me, I'm a total disaster for free-hand panting and you are so talented!
ReplyDeleteI hope you already have the job! The daisy nail art is so adorable and perfectly painted, fantastic for the upcoming season! I like that you added a little bit of sparkle too with the holo polish!
