These Spiders Are A Gal's Best Friend

How are you today? Thank you to those who wished me to get better soon, it's been a really rough week so far and I'm completely out of sorts with everything. Yesterday I did more sleeping than anything else which makes me feel incredibly lazy. Argh, hopefully I am better soon – I don't have time to be ill! Halloween! Are you doing anything for Halloween? I've never really celebrated it, it wasn't that popular where I grew up in England and also doesn't seem like a huge deal here in Holland either but I am excited to know what you guys will be doing. My favorite thing about Halloween is the possibility of new horror films! For today I have some rather crappy spiders to kick off Halloween. (I am not overly impressed with my nail art lately, I need to up my game) I'm terrified of spiders but how about some prettier glitzy spiders?

I started with two coats of Sally Hansen's 'Resurrection' and applied Max Factor's 'Fantasy Fire' on top. I created my webs and spider legs by using Color Club's 'On The Rocks'. I used a mixture of rhinestones and studs to create the spider bodies.

Rainbow Swipes!

How are you all doing? I hope you had a fantastical weekend! Did you get a chance to enjoy the rays? Its incredibly hot here in Holland and I enjoyed a rather busy weekend. I was also very proud of my Partner for winning a darts tournament! I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to blog sooner. Crazy busy and stupid internet! Today's post is a look that is simple on the eye, less simple in the making!

I started with two coats of Color Club's 'Normadic In Nude' and then made horizontal lines using 'Kiss' white stripper pen. I then took a very small angled eyeshadow brush to create the rainbow lines. Simple right? It was actually quite a tedious task!

Not Quite 99 Red Balloons.. But 99 Blog Posts!

Hope you all had a dandy weekend!

99 red balloons! Ok, there's really only two but can you believe this is my 99th blog post! Wow time flies when your having fun! Maybe most people would wait until their 100^th post to be excited but I figured the 99^th needed some love too. I had a technical hell this past weekend I am sorry for the delayed post, over the weekend my SD card decided to die and there was no possible fix until today when my wonderful partner got me a new one. I started getting withdrawal symptoms from blogging!

For this look I started by painting two coats of Max Factor's 'Candy blue' on each nail. I worked this into a gradient by adding Model's Own 'Balearic Cool' and Essie's 'Bikini So Teeny' on the tips. I finally finished the gradient by dabbing on Ozotic's Sugar 903 over the top. I then took Mash nail pens in white to create the balloon shapes and filled them in with Layla's 'N05', I also used this pen for the clouds. Lastly I used Mash Nail art pen in black for the string and writing.

I'm still battling the lighting issues so the colours are not quite spot on.. I'm doing my best :( I'm just glad I can take pictures again!

Max Factor: Fantasy Fire Swatch & Review

Allo polish pretties! What an overdue post, I can't believe its almost been a week since my last post. My apologies! How are you all doing? Have you had a good week so far? Things have been kind of hectic here. During the weekend I was busy watching my partner playing darts. He also took part in a demonstration where I won a trophy (And let me tell you, a proper trophy!) for throwing the lowest possible score. Yep, I threw a zero which means I was throwing darts everywhere but the darts board! What a laugh it was! Today I am reviewing drug store brand Max Factor's Fantasy Fire for you guys.
