ORLY Breathable Review - Part 3

*PressSample* This post contains an item(s) that was provided for reviewing purposes however I will as always give my full and honest opinion.

Allo Polish Pals!

Happy Monday to you all, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend? I really didn't do much at all, I am turning into some sort of lumpy potato lady with no get-up-and-go, or a slug with the productivity of a lump of mash potato. I get all the boys, I get all the boys..I'm one sexy slug. Ok, I'll stop being weird (Like I can turn that off!) Seriously, I swear its all this grey gloomy weather. I can't wait for spring to come and brighten everything up.

On the plus side, I've got some more beautiful colours to show you from ORLY's collection, Breathable. These can cheer you up on a cold and winter-y day!

Here's a little reminder as to why I'm obsessed with the Breathable collection..

This collection contains 18 nail polishes shades and come in generous 18ml bottles.
The benefits of the Breathable range boast a huge range of benefits to natural nails including the following.
  1. The breathable formula allows oxygen & hydration to penetrate the nail to say moisturised and healthy.
  2. It nourishes and hydrates to promote strength and nail growth.
  3. These polishes contain a beauty blend of Argan Oil, Pro Vitamin B5 &Vitamin C.
  4. No base or top coat required, these are an all in one top and base coat with gorgeous shades.

Aloe Goodbye

Aloe Goodbye! (Cute name!!) Is a soft grey with a subtle green iridescent shimmer. This looks super pretty on the nails, great for those who like shades of grey with a little twist.

Good Karma

Good Karma is a bold and daring cobalt blue crème, you know how certain colours can bring out emotions? I'd say this one screams power, its a very demanding and confident shade!

Namaste Healthy

Namaste Healthy – another awesomely named shade. Namaste Healthy is a beautiful, sexy and fierce brick red crème which has a beautiful glossy finish. Don't forget, these polishes need no top coat, I am not wearing a top coat in any of these pictures.

Sheer Luck

Sheer Luck is a delicate blush toned pink with incredibly subtle rose gold micro shimmers. This one is perfect for a pop of colour without going crazy, great if you are restricted when it comes to wearing colour at work.

Sweet Serenity

Sweet Serenity this one is the sister of 'Kiss Me, I'm Kind' from the previous review I did, its a soft cherry pink jelly meaning its incredibly sheer. This is perfect for giving your nails a quick 'pick me up' without adding a solid colour. My nails are rather stained (hey, it happens.) so I feel like seeing it on my nails isn't going to seal the deal, however on unstained nails this gives the nails a very healthy look.

Almond Milk

Almond Milk is a beautiful light beige crème, its a slightly off white, fantastic for 'statement' nails without having a pure stark white shade.

Really, for all the praise above how can you go wrong? Here's a catch up of all 18 shades.

So now that I've tried all 18 shades from the Breathable collection? What's my verdict? Honestly this collection just strengthens my love for ORLY. These nail polishes are each so pretty in their own way and one of the massive things that shocked me about these nail polishes is just how quickly they dry. Great if your in a hurry to start creating nail art or fantastic if you've only got a few minutes before you have to leave the house. I am in love with all the colours, I can't pick a single one which I don't like. I also love all the additional health benefits that Breathable has to offer, sometimes the process of applying and removing nail polishes it can make your nails and skin a little dry but I feel like these are giving my nails a little hug whilst I am wearing them.

How do you guys take care of your nails? Will you be trying any of these nail polishes? What

Have a fantastic day, thank you so much for visiting. I'll catch you again on Wednesday!

Love,
Ithi

  1. I wish I had the moola to fly you to beautiful sunny South Africa so you could feel the sun on your face and get beach sand stuck between your toes. I'm sorry about the "sad" weather you're having Ithi, hopefully Spring comes knocking real soon and in the meantime, enjoy the lovely nail hugs you're getting from ORLY. That red is so WOW!!

  2. I can't decide which color I love more, Good Karma or Namaste Healthy. I would go for any of them without hesitation. Maybe I can do a combination. My nail salon uses Orly as well so I will check if they have any of the new collection.

    1. Thank you so much, Tanvi, I am loving Aloe Goodbye too! Aw thank you so much - when I first started blogging it was more about painting my fingers than the nails!

  5. I can never paint my nails...I feel like I need a solid half a day to properly dry them, and that's nearly impossible with a toddler running around! Or you know...if I have to go to the bathroom! I'm terrible at waiting for them to dry...so I just never bother. I love these colors though! And the fact that it's breathable is very cool!

    1. Oh I totally feel you on the toddler front, my sister has that issue too. They never last long, thats why I've been using these on her nails lately as they dry SO so fast, none of that worrying about trying to stop the children taking over the world with sticky nails, haha.

  13. I love the good karma nail polish. It's beautiful! Do they chip easily?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Amanda, I find these do not chip easily. I think for one reason they are on the thinner side, so its more like they will move with your nail movement rather than if you have very thick polish that takes bumps and knocks. The addition of not using top coat probably helps it last longer too (as strange as that sounds!)
