How are you doing today? I hope your expecting a fun weekend. Today Mr Bravo left to Czech very early and as hard as I'm trying I'm feeling pretty down.. Meh. It seems to be creeping into most thoughts. I attempted my first Galaxy nail art today and completely messed it up by a single coat of glitter. As I went to edit the pictures I just couldn't bring myself to post it so now I'm kinda a day behind myself.

7 Things About Ithfifi, That's me!

1. I love home made soup and I enjoy making them too, yummy spicy chorizo soup or spiced pumpkin are among my favourites.

2. I'm a crazy cat lady, since moving to Holland and missing my cat Mars back in England I'll often stop to stroke kitties.

3. I am hardly ever without socks because my feet get so cold, I just love those big fluffy winter socks, snuggly!

4. Both my Nieces (3, 6) Always check out my nails as soon as they see me and my Dutch Niece has also noticed that normally only one hand is painted! I think that confuses her.

5. Surprisingly one of the foods I miss most from England is my Mother's roast dinners ~ Mostly for the fact that my dad grows his own vegetables and they are so delicious.

6. I've been known to steal the controller from Mr Bravo and run over a few people in GTA5. innocent, really.

7. I am really quiet and shy when you first meet me. Doesn't always last though!

How are you doing? I always love to know how your week is going so don't fail to mention it when you leave a comment! I'll be in the midst of a washing clothes and packing spree tomorrow. I like to be ahead of myself but there's always something last minute you need washed or something you need to leave out and then remember to pack before a big trip! So for today I'd like to thank my beautiful blogger friend Gelic  for giving me this award.

1. What/who encouraged you to start blogging?
My parents, family and partner. I was always labelled the artistic one within my family. I missed painting but I no longer felt like painting anymore! I needed a new direction so I rediscovered my love for nail art. I also was at a point in my life where I need structure so I know committing to a blog would be brilliant.

2. How did you chose what topic(s) to blog about?
I originally started this blog with the intent of showing my face for make up looks and nail art (God, I really spared you guys deciding to just focus it on nail art, that’s how much I love you all! ♥) Somewhere down the line I realized I only wanted to focus on nail art :)

Allo polish pals! How are we all doing? Are you hanging on for the weekend? Today while I give my nails a well deserved rest and some TLC (I lie a little.. I have a water marble in mind as we speak!) I am posting the sunshine award I received from the ever lovely Gelic who nominated me. Thank you so much Gelic! If you get a chance to check out her blog I really recommend you do!  I am really honored to receive this award from one of my favorite nail bloggers! So lets get started!

1. A big percent of my nail polishes are chilling in England until I can pick them up and bring them to Holland in August (Yipp-ee!)
2. Even as a trained make up artist I can incredibly grossed out when it comes to touching peoples eyes. I always had to act confident even though it terrified me!
3. I have a strange love for socks... You know when people joke about socks for Christmas? I freakin' love getting cute socks!
4. I used to want to be a children's book illustrator. I still like to draw and paint from time to time.
5. I used to be a goth. Long spiked dog collars, knee high buckled platform boots. Yeah. I thought I was so cool.
6.  I'm a huge sushi fan. I don't think there's any seafood I wont gulp down!
7. The only 'English' food I really miss since moving to Holland is Salt and vinegar crisps (chips) because I have a weird habit of licking my chips before I eat them!

The nominee's I am choosing inspire me in different ways. It can be their art skills, the way they write and their use of imagination. There where so many to pick from so I'm sorry if I left someone out.

Lou is Perfectly Polished ~ Fellow British nail blogger Lou, I've been following her blog since around the time I created Ithinity Beauty. When I see her creations I am sure she is a stamping pro!
Claws Up ~ LittleMonsterx14 whether she is posting about her adventures, showing her nail art or sharing her life I always enjoy reading her blog. She's very creative and I love her use of colour and her inspiration is always unique.
NailCraze ~ I don't remember how I stumbled upon Natalie's blog, Nailcraze but she is a huge inspiration to me. Natalie always has perfectly neat designs and not to mention she is the creator of Nail Craze nail plates, how cool is that?
Owl Love Nails ~ Julia's blog is home to some outstandingly beautiful swatches and offers clear and descriptive reviews about each polish. Julia gets me lemming for so many polishes!
Nail Manic ~ I adore Elin's nail blog. Not only does she post great swatches but her nail art is super cute.  I also find I discover a lot of new brands while browsing Elin's blog and that's great for me because I am always keen to find new favorites!

I Was Nominated For A Liebster Award!

How are you doing, are you having a good week? Massive apologies for not blogging so much this week. I am rushing around like crazy and thus not had the same time to post :( I currently have 3 scheduled posts up and ready to ping off while I'm away and some more to finish tomorrow. Tomorrow I have to pack and make sure I have everything sorted for my early flight to Holland on Saturday, I think I will have to be up at 4am and that’s with this terrible cold. I do apologise this not being a picture post but its an important one!
