Gothic Elegance

Allo polish Pals!
How are you today? I hope your having a great week so far?
I totally planned to post yesterday but if I am honest I am adjusting to being back in England. Mr Bravo and I are already enjoying ourselves. My Niece comes over for breakfast as my mum then drives her to preschool afterwards. It's lovely seeing her bright and happy smiles first thing in the morning! It is lovely being home and being able to spend time with everyone including the pets :)

Today I have a post I did last week when I was back in Holland. It started off as a simple idea but I ended up adding borders and what not....

For this manicure I.... *struggles to remember* Used three polishes, Essie's 'Cashmere Bathrobe', Color Club's 'On The Rocks' and H&M's 'Matte Silver'. I want to tell you which polishes I started with but to be honest I am getting a bit muddled up looking at it, haha. On the tips of several nails I stamped using Nail Craze stamping plate in NC03 and on my remaining nails I added some large studs I picked up as part of a set a few weeks ago – Can you help me? What is the shape of these studs called? I really can not remember! Finally I finished it all off with silver and black borders.

What do you think of this dark creation? Do you like to do partial stamping manicures?

Have a great day my friends!

Cosy Winter Knit

Allo polish Pals!
How are you doing today? I'm feeling pretty good, Mr Bravo came home Monday night and everything is back in its correct order! I'm feeling much more relaxed now :) I have to say the temperature here in Holland is dropping and I decided today to create a warming cosy manicure to combat the chills! Is it getting chilly where you are? I also have to admit that looking at this manicure makes me feel unusually seasonal! Normally I don't like Christmas songs (I know, I know.. sorry), I get annoyed when the stores are showing Christmas-y things in November but I'm really looking forward to Christmas in England this year :)
I started with two coats of N07's 'Devil's Delight' on all my nails. I then used acrylic paint to add a heart to my thumb and index finger and dabbed on Essence's 'I'm So Dreamy' nail art glitter, I also added a few of these around the hearts. I then used Nail Craze stamping plate N03 and white striper (I know that's weird but my good white is too thin and my worst white polish is far too gloopy) on my remaining nails.

This manicure does make me realise I need a lot more stamping practise, I've not stamped in quite some time so I am going to work hard on this :)

Does this manicure make you feel ready for Christmas? Have you tried any of the Nail Craze plates?

Have a great day,
Love

Ruby Red Gems

All polish pals!
Happy midweek to you all! I want to say a big thank you for the comments in the last post, it was really reassuring that I am not the only one who doubts their nail art at times but you guys always seem to do an awesome job! We ought to all have more confidence :)

Now I have a question for you lovelies!
Do you have a fiend colour polish? And by this I mean that one primary colour of polish that you want to rock but every time you look down at your freshly painted pinkies all you can muster is a 'meh...'. Either because you find the colour just looks crazy odd on your nails or doesn't match your skin tone? For me that colour is red. Why? I can not tell you but every time I spot it on my fingers it just unbalances me! None the less, today's post is redtastic!

Today's mani features my brand new spiffy nail plates from the wonderful Natalie @ Nail Craze. If you've not seen her plates before go check them out. I am often using them as I am so inlove with the designs.

Only when the stars come out.

Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I had a fun time at my best friends son's first birthday. I took my niece along and she had a great time playing with all the other children and it was lovely to catch up with my friends.
Of course this weekend I managed another manicure. I am quite happy with the outcome. Sure it could be a little neater but I have completely falling in love with a colour combination! I used two coats of OPI's 'Breathe life' and layered Barry M's 'Diamond glitter'. Wow. Because the Barry M glitter has a really charming colour range of sparkle and because its base is clear it almost reminds me of water droplets when its put on top of breathe life. I went on to use Essie's Aruba Blue diagonally across before finally stamping on some holographic stars in China Glaze's 'OMG'. And tada, a very rainbowy shimmery starry concoction!

Twinkle Twinkle..

Barry M's Diamond glitter brings the sparkle!
