I hope you are having a great week so far, Happy Valentine's day to you. I've got my final Valentine's day manicure today and I have stepped up the level of love on my nails. So far you've seen my anti-valentines manicure..well.. brace yourself for some cute, please!

Love comes in all shapes and sizes, big or small, tall or short..scaled or furry. Love is not limited to the confines of a fish bowl and love is blind to fishy flavoured kitty snacks... these two are complete opposites but don't they say opposites attract?

How are you all did-ling? I hope you had an awesome weekend, did you get up to anything fun? The weather here isn't permitting much outside fun but I had a cosy weekend, I've got stuck into a good book and I kind of can't put it down. Its a bit of a Bridget Jones type thing, very relatable!!

Since I'm not really into the whole Valentine's smoosh I decided to do another sort of.. anti Valentines day manicure. No glitter, no pinks and red and NOPE to heart shape chocolates..

I used my new camera for these pictures, she's taking some getting used to as well as my light backgrounds. I'm not too sure, what do you guys think? I hope they are crisp and sharp.. The focus situation is really odd.

Freehand Jar Of Hearts Valentines Day Nail Art

How are you all doing today, I hope you've had a great week?

Do you have anything fun planned for the up coming weekend? My cold is finally on the shift so I am going to focus hard on crunching some miles and getting my polish stash organised (its organised but ya know.. there could be more order!) Earlier nights are also making me feel much better.

Its that time of year again when all the lovey dovey nail art designs start making their rounds, pink and red nails covered in hearts and what not.. I do have a trio of designs aimed at Valentine's day but being a little more on the anti-valentine side. Ok.. I've got one super cute love-themed one. I'm saving that one until last!

I actually did this one towards the end of last year but ended up with so many other seasonal themed nail art I couldn't post it until now. Look how short and nubby my nails look here!

Freehand Bootylicious Cupid Bear - Valentine's Day Nail Art

How are you today? Are you excited for Valentines Day?

I've probably mentioned it before.. I'm not exactly anti-valentines day but I don't make a huge deal out of it. Do you have any nice plans though?

Today's nail art is my effort for the Tiny Canvas weekly challenge, our prompt was 'Cupid'.

Well.. I didn't know what to think about that so my version is much more fluffy and has a butt that anyone could be jealous of. Must be all those squats.

With everything that happened in the past month I've been feeling a little underwhelmed with all my recent nail art. I don't think its awful but its just.. lacking. I feel the same with this because I can see so many little mistakes and I wish I had planned his placement better as I think its hard to tell he's holding a bow...

For this one I began with Mezmris Nail Lacquer's base coat, 'Armor Up'.

I then applied two coats of Barry M's 'White' for a nice clean starting canvas and to encourage the acrylic colours to 'pop'.

Next I used my bamboo brush (I may need to say goodbye to him soon.. he's really giving up) to create an acrylic-gradient going from bright blue to light blue and added some blue glitter to the tops of my nails.

I sealed the glitter in with an old and unimportant top coat before moving on to paint the freehand details. I'm absolutely loving my Pure Color brushes in sizes #09 #10 for things such as painting fur.

I finished it all off by applying my Pro-FX top coat and eventually moved onto Barry M's Matte top coat.

Freehand Valentines Day Teddy Bears

How are you doing today? Happy Valentine's day to you all!  Mwah!

Are you celebrating today or are you feeling Anti-Valentine'sy ? I personally don't make that much of a big deal out of it, I don't think we'll be doing much. Don't get me wrong, I like romance but I also don't think it should just be showered with on one 'special day'. I'm actually probably more excited that the walking dead is returning, ha! Whatever you guys do have a great Sunday!

Anyway, I've got some lovey dovey cuddly teddy bears for you today!This was inspired by *this* pin.

I still had my broken nail here, on my index finger you can see a little bump on the side - that will be my life saving tea bag lurking underneath. I've managed to grow it out though, it was right below the free edge and now I've managed to file it out - wahoo! Five weeks of consistency.

For this manicure I only used Barry M's 'White' and created my freehand bears entirely with acrylic paints and my trusty bamboo and detailing brush. I decided this certainly looked better with a matte top coat!
