How are you all doing today? Half way through another week, already! Have you done anything exciting?

I tested out my new cycle yesterday, I'm quite bad at stopping as the breaks seem miles away from the handle bars (I've just got really small hands) but it was lovely zipping along the bike roads with the sun and the beautiful breeze. Ahh :)

Today I've got a polish that seems inappropriately named for this time of year, but its such a beautiful polish that surely it can't just be for certain seasons! This is Ciaté's 'Holiday Blues'. Excuse how my cuticles are looking... I'm using gloves for housework but maaaaan...They need a vacation. So do I :)

How are you doing today? I hope you had a fantastic week, do you have anything awesome planned for the weekend?

I want to turn the whole bedroom upside down and clean the way I like. Literally by throwing everything in a pile and starting over again, ha! Bring on the anti-bac wipes! I do feel like a good spring clean. There are also so many darting trophies that are practically dust magnets. Its time to clean from top to bottom!

Of course there will be some time for some more freehand painting at some point!

How are you doing today? I hope all is great with you? I feel like I've been on a bit of a painting roll as of late, I've got some posts lined up that I am super excited to share with you but since its Friday and I've been rolling out freehand posts for quite sometime I thought we could chill with a little swatchy-boo, that's ok isn't it? I promise its a cute one!

I'm Going Home! - Freehand Areoplane Nails

Happy Saturday to you all, I hope you will have a fantastic weekend! As this post goes online I am probably now at Amsterdam airport with Mr Bravo for our flight - I'm going home! We're lucky that we will get to spend three weeks in England with my family and I can't tell you how excited I am...But sometimes an awesome thing has to follow an awful thing... Do you remember I had some upsetting news this past week? Sadly it was concerning my beloved dog Charlie who lives with my parents in England. I am currently incredibly heartbroken to tell you that he passed away on Wednesday. This trip is both bitter and sweet; It will be hard to walk into the house without him being there. I hope you can understand that due to this my commenting and blog visits may be a little slower than usual.

For this manicure I created a gradient using Yes Love's #34 shiny blue, Ciaté's 'Holiday Blues' and Barry M's 'Huckleberry'. I then used my Oumaxi acrylic paints and my favorite bamboo brush to freehand everything else. Please excuse the extreme cuticle mess!

I'm not over the moon with this manicure but I wanted to create something a little fun, When we've traveled before I left you with Union Jack manicures so I wanted to do something completely different! I found it so hard to match up the nails and have the picture line up nicely and I really wish this was... more. But there you go.

I've got pretty good at being ahead of my blog posts so I hope in a little while I can create a beautiful tribute to Charlie. Also, I want to say thank you to those who have already sent me kind messages - A dog isn't just a dog when you have one... It becomes apart of the family so I really appreciate your kind messages of support.

Sugar Skulls With The Finder Things Easy Peel Decals

How are you today? I'm so sorry I missed a couple of days posting. I have missed you guys! Things here have been a little rough, since my eye has swelled up (its finally beginning to get better – slowly) I've lost all my inspiration and even when I've had it then it was incredibly hard to focus and concentrate. As you can imagine this has left me really frustrated. Anyway I have another post featuring some decals from The Finder Things. These are the awesome 'Sugar Skulls, Day Of The Dead' decals. These decals are just like the Shamrocks I showed you, the method of applying is fast, clean and easy. Just peel and stick! Don't forget to 'read more'.

Happy Saturday to you all! I have a real change up this weekend, compared to last weeks very quiet weekend at home I'll be out most of this weekend visiting friends and family so I just have time for a quick swatch for you. I have to warn you, I could have killed my camera. I don't know why but it really didn't want to pick up the beautiful holo on this polish. I made the best I could with my limited time but I'm still not too impressed with how my photographs came out. Here is Ciatés 'Looking Glass'. I also tried this on before I trimmed and rounded my nails down so my nails are going to look a little different from picture to picture. I'm smart, huh...

Back to rounded nails. Short and stubby - They are currently a work in progress.

(Before I went round) Apologies for the also phone snap, I wanted to share with you the beautiful holo to this polish. Fail.

Colour ~ Looking Glass is a gorgeous silver laced with holographic glitter. When I first inspected the bottle I thought it reminded me a lot of Model's Own's 'Northern Lights' however in certain light this polish has a beautiful but subtle taupe tint to it. In natural light the holo jumps right out at you and in some light it may appear almost as if it is only silver.

Application ~ I had no trouble with application, in fact the first coat dried incredibly fast into a dull matte look which meant that it is fast and easy to layer your coats. I am showing three coats.

Texture ~ The texture is on the watery side with this one but that only added to the wonderful dry time. I had assumed on first inspection it may feel or apply grainy but it was perfectly smooth.

★★★★★/5 Yes I am giving this five stars! I love the texture and I love how glossy it appears with a top coat, It is gorgeous when you see the holo and even when it appears just silver. I can see myself reaching for this one many more times in the future. Its a beautiful balance of striking and subtle at the same time.
