Purple Rain, Puuurple Rain! ~ Water Marble

Allo polish Pals!
How are you today, did you have a good Valentine's Day? I hope your having a great weekend! Today I've been quite productive shifting through laundry and tidying up. Tomorrow Mr Bravo is taking me to meet some of his long-time friends and I'm feeling really nervous! I'm actually a really shy person and I'm always a little jittery when I have introductions. I'm sure we will have a great time and it will be great for Mr Bravo to catch up :) I also found time to test out one of the beautiful Fogan polishes my sister-in-law gave me and I am in love!
Mr Bravo thought of the post name. Purple rain for a water marble manicure...
I started with two coats of Barry M's 'Prickly Pear' on all my nails and created a water marble using Fearne polish 'High Tide' and Forgan #16. I really love how the colours melted together in some places and almost became their own shade. I then added some candy studs from The Born Pretty Store and added some trailing dots in alternating colours.

I've only tried a couple of the Fogan nail polishes from the set of 24 my Sister-in-law kindly gave me but so far I am really liking them!

What do you think of this manicure? Have you created a marble manicure so far this year?
Have a great weekend!

Candy Dotticure

Allo polish Pals!
How are you doing today? Are you looking forward to the weekend, do you have anything fun planned? I finally found my head and have managed to be quite productive over the last couple days and enjoying some more seasonal manicures. This is actually the first year I can do some Christmas-y nails since last year I was here in Holland visiting Mr Bravo for the first time ever! So I look forward to showing you some of these creations soon! Today's nails are a candy-esque manicure
I started with two coats of Layla's '01', my personal favourite silver and added varying sized dots using China Glazes 'Sunday Funday' and Nubar's 'Belize Coral'. In the center of the larger dots I added some Candy studs which came from the Born Pretty Store.
Overall its a pretty simple manicure but I really like the blue/pink combination combined with the soft touch silver.

What do you guys think of this manicure? Do you like pairing pink and blue together?
Hope you have a great start to your weekend!

Blurple Candy

Allo polish Pals!
Friday again, already?! How has your week been? I have to admit I was a little side tracked from my blog schedule this week. I have some stuff going on with my English family when my Niece got pretty sick and being in Holland made it quite a difficult time for me. Thankfully she is ok and I am now feeling much calmer. Today's post feature's some cute candy studs from the Born Pretty Store.

I used three colours for this look, Barry M's 'Prickly Pear' and 'Vivid Purple'. My third colour was this stunning blue from a Greek brand Erre Due which I picked up on my holiday's last year. I used striping tape to alternate the arrow pattern and applied the studs to a tacky top coat.
I made a slight booboo on my thumb but besides that I am really smitten with the colour combo!

What do you think of this nail art? Do you like the colour combo?
Have a great start to your weekend,

A heart of Glass Manicure

Allo polish Pals!
How are we today? Today I excitedly decided to break out something I had wanted to try for quite a long time. A few months ago I picked up these beautiful little hearts from the born pretty store and decided to picture them against an old glass heart pendant I have had since forever.
I'm personally so in love with these little rainbow delights!
With a lighter glass heart
I started with two coats of Barry M's 'Cobalt Blue' and using striping tape I created angled lines. I then added Zoya's 'Indigo' to the tips. With a good lick of Sally Hansen's Double Duty top coat I carefully applied the hearts using tweezers.

So, what do you guys think? Its not very festive for Halloween but then I'm not feeling festive :s Do you guys have some fun Halloween plans lined up?

Have a sparkly day!

Real Feather Nail Art With Polka Dot

Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today?
What the...! It's Friday again already?! I feel like there are week days that have been stolen. Somebody alert the authorities. Do you have any lovely plans this weekend? My poor Partner is sick so I've been doing my best to take care of him. I think its going to be a very warm quiet weekend inside for us. I think a few cancelled plans here and there but there's no one I'd rather be cooped up with!
Today's manicure features feathers from The Born Pretty Store. I nabbed these quite some time ago and to be honest I was a little wimpy about using them! I decided that I should finally just try it.

On all nails I started with two coats of Color Club's 'Normadic In Nude' and on my ring finger applied a topcoat of Seche Vite before carefully layering the feather down on top. I then used cuticle clippers to cut off any stray edges and smoothed off the edge with a nail file. On my remaining fingers I used W7's White and striping tape to create a diagonal French tip. I then added on top W7's Black and used a dotting tool with 'Normadic In Nude' to add the polka dots.

Ok its not perfect in the slightest but I think for a first attempt it's passable. Hopefully.

What do you guys think of this dotted feather nail art? Have you tried using real feathers in your manicures?

Have a wonderful start to your weekend!

Holographic Hazy Water Marble

Allo polish Pals!
How are we all doing? I hope your having a fantastic weekend so far! Just a quick post today ~ I have a sleepy-weekend feeling and I'm looking forward to climbing into bed and listening to the thunder and rain So relaxing!  Guest Bloggers: To those of you who have already applied I will be sending you the date for when your post will go live over the weekend/start of the week. If you interested in applying for a guest blog spot there is still time!
Today I am showing you a manicure featuring some small hexagon studs which is the first product I have tried from the Born Pretty Store. I'm loving these beauties!

For some reason my camera decided to be a douche, sorry!
I started with two luscious coats of Color Club's 'Harp On It' on all my nails. Then to create a simple (Ie: I didn't swirl the colours, similar to when I did my parrot manicure) water marble manicure I used Models Own 'Grey Day' and W7's 'White' and 'Black'. I then carefully used tweezers to add the studs along the black polish.
I noticed something which is completely accidental... Where Model's Own 'Grey Day' and holographic beauty 'Harp On It' meet it blended and softened so unusually. I really love the hazy look they made together!

What do you guys think of this manicure? Do you like the grey-scale paired with a holographic polish?

Have a wonderful weekend, beauties.
