Allo polish Pals!
Happy weekend to you all, how ya doing?
Where you desperately hanging on for the weekend?
This week has been pretty good. I had
to work less but I feel like I am making improvements with things
such as getting muddled with vouchers and gift cards when I am
serving customers – there's so much to learn so fast.
Some of you said you'd like to
see the Christmas cards I'm working on and I'll share a couple soon
- I'm currently on the second one which is for my nephew
but I will delay showing you the ones I do for the adults since..
yeah, no spoilers!
Today's nail art is one I have umm'd
and ahh'd about posting. In all honesty I am not very proud of it but
I don't want to get into the habit of 'throwing' away designs that
take considerable amounts of time – I used to do that a lot and
that's just unnecessary stress.
Again this is another one which I did shortly after I returned to England so... old nail shape and no nice close up :(
Glossy version. |
I'm honestly not too sure where the
inspiration came from on this design. I think I just 'winged' it,
pretty much. I've done so many landscapes that sometimes I feel a
little pushed for ideas (this will go, it always does.)
For this manicure I began with my OPI
'Nail Envy' base coat and once dry applied two thin coats of China
Glaze's 'White On White' nail polish. I again allowed a little dry
time and used a thin coat of my Pro-FX top coat to create a nice
smooth layer for my acrylics to stick to. I used my acrylic paints
and various nail art brushes to create everything
you see in colour and sealed with a final layer of top coat. My final
step was to add my Barry M matte top coat because... well, I just
think it can change the results of a manicure so much!
Is there anything you'd like
to see me paint? What do you think of this unusual design?
Have an awesome weekend, thank you for
visiting today. I'll see you again on Monday for some more nail art fun - I hope you like gingerbread!
Love.
Ithi

ReplyDeleteAmazing nail art! I really like the texture aspect of the design. I honestly wouldn't be worried about doing a lot of landscapes, just push the limit and it'll never get boring.
ReplyDeleteThis is an adorable design that is perfect for the holidays, though it would be good for Valentines Day too. I love the use of glitter in the trees. And the moon looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou always have such pretty nails. Live the orange and green. Or is it red? 🤔 either way it's pretty.
