Freehand Midnight Circus In The Forest

Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? I hope your week is going well so far?

This post may seem a little disjointed as I am writing this the night before posting. The night before?! I'm normally super organised with my posts and I had planned to write this one when I got home from work on Tuesday however I got over time (yay for the bank balance) which meant by the time I'd got the bus home and eaten it was nearly 8pm. On the plus side I only work from 12-5pm tomorrow...phew.

This nail art was another one I had done whilst in Holland – I have amazed myself at how many I had from before coming home, haha.

Imagine... You've been walking through the forest for what feels like hours. Your route was simple and you went to check the GPS on your phone before realising there was no signal. You continued walking on, hoping you are aimed in the right direction back to the road and the bus stop home...

Continued... A few moments later the trees begin to thin and before you realise it you are stood in a clearing. In front of you is the most beautiful clear mottled sky, filled with stars and the brightest blues and purples you've ever seen. Coming of of your trance, your attention is snapped forward by the sound of a sweet melody come from near by. As you ascend the hill you reach a single carnival tent, crowned with a beautiful pink heart...

What will you do? Does your curiosity get the better of you? Do alarm bells ring and you turn on your heel, back into the forest?.. Or do you see if there's anyone.. or anything inside who can help you?

I like nails with a little story but I'll let you guys create your own ending for this one!

This design was all freehand using acrylic paints and nail art brushes.
Products I used were OPI's 'Nail Envy', Barry M's white nail polish (just for my base) Pro-FX top coat (I still miss you..) and finally Barry M's top coat.

The metallic sheen of this manicure was created using white metallic acrylic paint.

What do you guys think of this nail art? Would you enter the tent or run from it?

Have an awesome day. Thank you so much for visiting. I'll catch you again on Saturday!

Love,
Ithi

  1. Pretty tent, soothing music, hearts, middle of the forest... definitely cause for alarm!
It did inspire a lovely manicure so I might not run immediately but happily waltzing into the tent? I don't think so ;)

  4. OMG! What is this?! WOW. You did this yourself without anyone's help?! I am so impressed, I can never do my own nails on regular polish, none the less. HAHA.

  5. I am amazed by the detail in the trees alone. They look like paintings you would see in a house, but miniaturized!
