Allo polish Pals!
How are we all doing
today? Are you glad Friday is here?!
I've another review post for you today but don't worry I'll have some more freehand in my next post!
I've another review post for you today but don't worry I'll have some more freehand in my next post!
Today I have a
holographic polish to share with you.. and you know what? My camera
played fairly nice! This is 'HolographicHolo Glitter Nail Polish #12' from The Born Pretty Store. Lets take a
look shall we?
My first impressions of
this polish was.. Yep! I saw the delicious yummy holo in the bottle
and I needed to get that on my nails ASAP!
The polish comes in a
diddy cute 6ml square bottle.
The store states that
you should apply 2-3 coats of this polish for full opacity however on
my third coat I decided to add one extra just for good measure.
On my first application
I was very shocked at how sheer this polish was, I hadn't expected it
to apply like a jelly. I am wondering if there's a possibility to
make a holo jelly sandwich!? However with that said it did build up
beautifully into a very flawless looking manicure.
Considering I applied 4
coats in a fairly speedy manner I'd say that this polish didn't
disappoint, there was no bubbling or any other icky incidents. The
dry time too was also nothing to complain about!
I am really impressed
with the overall look and think the prize is pretty reasonable for
the size, we all know there are some 'Big Boy' brands when it comes
to the holo game that are much more expensive. I think if you are
planning to wear this every single week do look into a larger bottle
option but if you are adding it to your collection for casual wear I
highly recommend it!
What do you
think of this polish? Have you tried any of the BPS holo polishes, do
you have a favourite?
Thank you for stopping
by, have a wonderful day, lovelies! Don't forget to let me know what
you think.
Love
Ithi
Ooh, that's pretty! Holo causes me to have instant grabby hands so I'm off to look at what BP has to offer in the rainbow department ;)
