Allo polish Pals!

How are you all doing today? :) Can you seriously believe we're at another Thursday? Just where is the time going?

Today I've got a three in one sort of post, I was lucky enough to get to try some of the new Probelle textured polishes from their new textured collection. I have absolutely no experience with any Probelle polishes which means I'm literally discovering how these are without previous knowledge of the company – always fun to see what first impressions are like.

I'll be showing you 'Textured Hot Pink', 'Textured Purple' and 'Textured Turquoise' so please hit the 'read more' link below to see how these polishes stack up! I am picturing these polishes with two coats and without a top coat so we can see the texture.

Don't forget you can click the close up shots to see the detail of the texture a little easier
Textured Hot Pink
Probelle certainly gave this polish a daring name, you can't be called a hot pink unless you really are a slap-in-the-face-sexy-neon-flamingo-loving pink and does that polish live up to that? Most certainly! This is a vibrant and fun shade which certainly brings the warmth of summer back on to my nails. As with all three of these polishes I think the shades suit the finishes beautifully. Let's take a look at the other two!

Textured Purple
I'm going to be honest right now and say I love all three of these polishes. I can't actually pick a favourite...but I love this one! I would describe it as a vibrant medium purple which I would liken to the Milka purple! Again, another really fun shade that makes me feel more summery than autumnal (and I like that, ok?) Does this purple remind you of anything?

Textured Turquoise
As the name states, this polish is turquoise but its a happy turquoise for sure. This one makes me want to dive into a nice refreshing pool! You guys know I am a sucker for blues and this one is no exception. I really love how this polish just looks like perfectly flawless cake icing covering my nails. I am highly impressed with the finish and flawless look each of these polishes give.

What I have noticed about these 'textures' right off the bat is that they are not your usual gritty, hard or bubbly type of textures which absolutely wins me over. I'm not a fan of having rough nails at all and the few textures I do own are pretty much left where they've been sat since their initial swatch.

Probelle's polishes however have a really beautiful textured look, if you see my close ups you can certainly see there is a texture but the finish is a stunning semi matte, soft rubber look which I absolutely adore. It also creates a very beautiful and smooth canvas for creating freehand nail art on top – BONUS in the freehand-land.

The dry time for these polishes are pretty exceptional too, I had to pop off on the bicycle shortly after my last application and I was sure I'd smudge it up however it had already dried! They are great for a quick blast of colour in a hurry.

Final Thoughts?
Based on my first experience with Probelle I would certainly recommend them! I love the size of the bottles, the colours are brilliantly pigmented and bright, the finish is fabulous and the dry time is just amazing for polishers on the go or those who are keen to get started on their nail art. Their online store also features a whole range of regular polishes if you are not one for textures, some of them look very pretty and I am certainly eager to try them having tried these textured ones.

You can also find Probelle on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

What do you think of these three polishes, do you have a fave? Yay or nay to texture polishes?

Have a beautiful day my friends! I'll catch you again on Saturday!
Love

  1. I'm more of a Liquid Sand / Pixiedust texture kind of girl so I'm not sure these would be something for me, but the colors are gorgeous and I really like the rubbery finish so I'm not going to write these off immediately :)
