Arty Cross-Hatch Nails

Allo polish Pals!
How are you today? :) I hope you all had a weekend and are all feeling refreshed for the new week.
Did you have any great adventures? This is a scheduled post so I hope by now I am feeling more alive and ready for the week ahead! (I'm actually still sick. Clearly I can not read the future haha.) Today I have a freehand cross-hatch look for you. I decided to create something more...'artsy'.

I started off with two coats of W7's 'White' and applied Kisses nail art striper in black to create a cross-hatch effect. I then took some light blue square gems and applied them into the squares I had created. I did this on alternating nails. Finally I finished up with a good coating of Seche Vite topcoat.

I'm undecided if I like this manicure. I don't think I would personally wear it casually but I think it does look quite arty.

What do you think of this manicure, is it too 'out there' for you? Have you tried a cross-hatch style manicure?

Have a wonderful Monday,

Love
Ithi
