Freehand Cliff Top Village Nail Art

Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? I hope you are having an awesome week so far?
I'm at work again today, my store is actually holding a special VIP event in cosmetics and beauty, how fun is that?!

Can I ask you a huge favour? I'm currently nominated for the UK blogger awards.. This would feel like such an achievement to go through after such an messed up, awful, wonderful year and a great way to celebrate my somewhat recent 5th year of blogger.

Its really easy to vote, just visit the link below. Enter and select health & beauty from the drop down menu.

Thank you so much in advance if you can take time to vote for me, I am truly thankful!
Today I have another design which was again done while I was in Holland – there's still a few left, wtf! I painted haaard, didn't I?! I'm also not happy with this one either but eh.. I liked the concept in my head so I will show you anyway. I imagine this would be quite a relaxing place to live!

Do you know.. I can't even put my finger on what I don't like about this one. I'm not sure if its the sky, the mundane looking houses or the ugly cliffs – if you feel differently about it let me know!!

For this manicure I used my trusty OPI Nail Envy which was dry within seconds. I then used two coats of Barry M's 'White' nail polish for a nice clean canvas and quickly moved in with my acrylic paints.

There's really not much else to tell you about this one. Luckily this was done quite some time ago and I've since done ones I much prefer. Sometimes a really bad one can set you up on a pattern of a few bad manicures, luckily it didn't last long!

What do you guys think of this design? Would you want to live in this little fantasy village?

Thank you so much for visiting, I'll catch you again on Saturday – enjoy the rest of your week!

Love,
Ithi

  18. Hmmm... I actually quite like the design until I read that you didn't like it... Is it because of the sky where you did it in pink instead of blue/ white (which I know you didn't want to clash with the waterfall)

  19. You know I'm in awe of just about all your designs and this one is no exception.
The only thing I can think of (but that's only if I think real hard and let my inner perfectionist out) is that the perspective doesn't look the same everywhere. But still, way better than I can even dream of doing myself!
