Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? I hope you
had an amazing start to your week.
I'm just getting back into routine, my
weekend trip was amazing. Storm Brian actually wasn't too bad where
we stayed. We had showers and strong wind but it didn't rule the
weekend or leave us trapped in doors like we had feared. I had to
stay in a bunk bed because my sister was worried the kids might fall
out of it if they stayed in there and I am pleased to tell you I only
bumped my head once! I'll add some pictures to the bottom of the
post for those of you who are interested!
On to nails now though, today I am
going to be showing you some 'Eyes Gradient Water Decal' from
BeautyBigBang.com – I've got a few more reviews after this one to
share with you but then I have decided to no longer review for the
BornPrettyStore or Beautybigbang.
I picked these water decals to review
because of how bright and vibrant they are. If you know me even just
a little bit you'll know I am colour mad, I love beautiful bold
colours. These decals come in the standard 10 piece sheet and applied
easily and smoothly and looked great over my China Glaze 'White On
White' -Before application I had no idea if
they had a transparent or solid background, its turns out that they
were solid white which meant the Barry M glitter I had applied
wouldn't be seen (I had pictured sparkles peeking out from the eye
details.) however it still looked very neat.
I decided that having them on all my nails might be a little
'too much' for I opted for NYX's 'Fizzy Spots' on my index and ring
finger which I think helped the arty decals to stand out even better.

As promised here's a few snaps of the
Salcome area where we stayed this weekend. The house we stayed in was
actually in Portlemouth and was pretty rural but so peaceful, some of
the roads where literally dirt tracks just wide enough for our car to
drive down – if we had met traffic I have no idea what would have
happened. That said the area was gorgeous. On Saturday we took a
short walk (down 120 steps!) to a tiny little dock where we got a
'ferry' (Really, really tiny boat that swayed like crazy and got us
all wet!) into Salcome which was really pretty. We also went to
Dartmouth which was so picturesque and quaint. Overall I had an
awesome time, I've recharged mentally and got to spend time with all
my favourite people. Its weird to think a few months ago I almost
wasn't sure if I would be able to get home to the UK..I actually
feared for my life at times. This weekend has been great for
reflecting and for being thankful for all the wonderful things in my
life.

What do you guys think of this nail art? Would you wear these water decals?
Have a fantastic day, thank you so much
for visiting. I'll be back on Saturday with another freehand
Halloween manicure!
Love,
Ithi
The decals are... different. The colors are great though :)
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks like a beautiful region you've been to. I can easily see myself walking there, enjoying the sounds of nature and ignoring everything else (of course there is no rain when I do that). Glad you have such a wonderful time!
The nail art is super cool. It gave me some ideas for Halloween. Just hoping I can pull it off.
ReplyDeleteSO because of you blog I finally learned that glitter nail polish needs layers. I wanted to thank you because I have successfully painted mine and my 3 daughter nails in full coverage of glitter nail polishes. I know that it doesn't seem like a big deal but we are all loving it. And Glitter nail polish has been put to the top of all of there stocking stuffers list.
ReplyDeleteHi. I missed the video on glitter. But if u put it on a make up sponge an dab on nail it works awesome. Sponge sucks up excess polish. An don't have to do layers.Less time consuming when doing more than just ur 10 nails(lol ones) also seen it on utube. Hope ya try it. An if that was what I missed an you knew thus. Sorry. Best of luck with glittering
DeleteI'm also going to have to look into these decals, because while I know that there is no way I could do free hand as well as you I think I can handle decals.
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this one is so amazing. You find the best decals! How long will they stay on before you change them out?
