Allo polish Pals!
I hope you are all doing great today?
I had an awesome weekend, it was my
nieces 7th birthday so we popped round for a tea party on
Saturday afternoon, in the evening our town had it's annual carnival
so we all watched that followed by some cheeky fish and chips from
the local chippy (rare treat!)
Today I am going to show you a few more
items from the Born Pretty Store, I'll be reviewing the '10ml BornPretty 3D Chameleon Cat Eye Magnetic Gel Soak Off UV Gel Polish' and
'4 Sheets UR SUGAR Water Decal Cute Animals Cat Dog Rabbit Bunny NailArt Transfer Stickers 051-054'.
Prepare yourself for a whole load of pictures!
First off we have the magnetic gel
polish, this one comes in a generous 10ml bottle so there is plent of
polish to play with. This one is pretty much the silver version of
the last one I reviewed however I find the coverage of this polish to
be much more sheer, I ended up with at least three coats which made
my nails look incredibly thick. It also have a tendency to shrink
around the free edge which makes them look semi transparent. I'm not
digging that look. I would suggest this one should be worn over a
black nail polish base for full effect. I had hoped this one would
have a scatter of holo like the gold one I review but alas.. It did
not. My over all thoughts? I don't like it as much as the gold one
but if I stop comparing.. Its not on my favourites list. A little
holo would have been cute and I don't like how sheer it is. Sure you
can build up layers but you'll end up with thick looking nails.
When I saw this set of decals I thought they were so cute. I picked them mainly for the bunny and cat water decals – I hadn't realised I would be getting a set of four. They were all easy to apply, I had no issues with any of these. While I still really like the bunny nail art and I do like the cats I am not sure a full set of cat nails is my thing. Its a b
it too 'crazy cat lady' – which we all know I am but my nails don't really need to advertise that. Out of both the cat decals I prefer the non dressed cats design, with a matte top coat on top they almost look like little paintings!
What do you guys think about these nail
art items? Would you go full cat-manicure?
Thank you so much for visiting, have a
wonderful day and I'll catch you on Wednesday for some
really...'interesting' 3D nail art!
Love,
Ithi
All manicures are fantastic. Thanks for sharing with us the carnival feeling, we (my daughter and I) enjoyed it to the max!
ReplyDeleteI loves the decals, They are the only way I can even come close to achieving the nails like yours that you do on your own.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a wonderful weekend. I did too. I am really loving the second manicure from the top. It is pink and so cute. I wish I had the patience to do these. I am a simple color kinda girl.

Girl, I love your creativity. For a moment I thought that you drew the cats, only to read that they are stickers! And your nails are just so beautiful! I love all this!
ReplyDeletethose cat stencils are super cute. I wish I had nails. I've bitten them all my life and sometimes wish I had more girly hands
ReplyDeleteI really love these designs. So cool and so different. My favorite was the bunny. Hope the birthday celebration was great.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had a great weekend. My weekend was very mellow but i had a good time nevertheless. I really love the nail art with the cats. I love cats :)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh I'm loving those cat decals Ithfifi. They appeal to this crazy cat lady big time but I was just wondering. Perhaps if the background was clear instead of white, maybe they would be less in your face. Anways, hope you have a lovely week
ReplyDeleteAs always, these are amazing. You find the best colors and have so much fun!
ReplyDeleteI love them all! The bunnies are my favourite, but I like the other ones as well. Those tiny dogs - georgeous <3 I would go for a full cat mani. Or wait, I would go for a full dog mani, I'm more of a dog person :-p
ReplyDeleteI love the Born Pretty Site. And those pink rabbit nails are so adorable I love them!
ReplyDeleteI really like these looks! I think a black base would help the silver polish would look good & would make your nails so thick. The cats & bunnies are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the pink ones! So the pink colour strokes are stickers? They look really legit and I like it with the accompaniment of the cute rabbits!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love each and every one of these! I think it's simply amazing how you create these!

I love the one with the bunnies! So cute. I love the pink polish you paired with it.
ReplyDeleteThe decals are so cute, especially the cat ones (cat lover over here!). I quite like the color of the nail polish but if you say you need at least 3 layers and that it makes your nails look thick I don't think I would go for it.
ReplyDeleteBoo on that polish, even though it's a lovely colors.
ReplyDeleteThe cats made me chuckle but no, definitely not a look for me ;)
One thing that caught my eye though... how did you do the other nails for the manicure with the white bunny decals? Is that dry brush or something else that looks great?
Your nail art looks so adorable. Especially the Rabbit bunny its really cute with the pink polish.
ReplyDeleteThat cat manicure is the cutest thing! ♥
ReplyDeleteHmmmm that shrinking issue is little bit tough to manage but however that's an ok polish. As you said some Holo glitter might have helped it to look bit glamorous. Those decals are really very pretty. I like them.
