Autism Awareness Nail Art With Acrylic-Gradient Hearts

Allo polish Pals!

I hope you are having a great weekend so far :) Are you doing anything fun? Today's my first day in England (I got home around 11pm last night, yay for scheduled posts!) so I'll be catching up with all my family.

Today's post comes from the heart with a lot of love and support. If you didn't know the 2nd of April is Autism awareness day and the month its self. I wanted to create a post for this because I feel like there is still a lot of misconception and old information flying around about Autism.

While I don't think anyone who doesn't have Autism will fully grasp the challenges it can bring to the day to day life of someone with any form of Autism I do believe we have the power to give ourselves as much understanding as possible to make it easier for those who are on spectrum.

I also think that there should be no negativity surrounding or attached to Autism nor should we assume that each person on the spectrum is dealing with the same situations. While undoubtedly there are many hardships and trials in their daily lives there are still so many highs and positive factors and with encouragement and support they can nurture their strengths and talents.
For more information check out this really insightful website.

For this manicure I used a mixture of Polish Me, Royalty's 'Unicornicopia', Essence's 'We Will Spock You' and Mezmris Nail Lacquer's 'Space Man'. I then used my acrylic paints on top and sealed it all in with my Pro-FX top coat.

Have you done awareness nail art before? What do you think of these awareness nails?

Have a great weekend, my friends. Thank you for visiting today :) I'll be back on Monday with a surprise for you!

Love
Ithi
