I'm still struggling to get my passport back. I'm not sure if I should keep my hopes up about the college course as they keep needing more and more proof of who I am. Funny thing is they found my blog. I was like.. “That's mine!!” Deary me.

Anyway, today I have pretty nail polish
from the Born Pretty Store to share with you. I didn't actually
select this one but I like surprises! This is 'Ultrafine Tiny Holo/Glitter Starry Nail Polish'.
This polish is a beautiful shimmery
purple base with magenta and purple shimmer running through it. Its
very subtle but you can certainly see flashes of pink when in the
light. I really like this colour, I am a purple lover, but I'm
usually fussy!
This polish did have one slight down
side, it took a really long time to dry and even then I managed to
smudge it; I also notice that it tends to mattify all on its own. I
had to reapply my pinky nail because it had started to look..frosted
over. I'm not sure if that was supposed to happen (One would assume
not..) but it wasn't very flattering and really stood out against my
other glossy nails.
Overall I really like the shade and I'd
certainly wear it again. Perhaps this is more of a builder, very thin
coats to achieve a better dry time. If your a purple fan I think
you'd like this one!

Me and the boyfriend were in Amsterdam a few weeks ago and I picked up a lot of polishes ;-) We were only there for the day, but loved it and are planning on going back.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to try to do the build you mentioned. I usually do one or 2 coats and go maybe that's why my looks don't come out as well as yours have. I have a tone of purple as it's a favorite and usually found on my nails

ReplyDeletePretty color!!! I'm not sure what my favorite purple is... if I really had to pick I guess I would go for Zoya Carter (a textured polish) but I would have to console a lot of other pretties for ignoring them ;)
