Traveling Home Nail Art - Freehand Magic Flying Carpet Nails!

Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? Are you excited for the weekend?
I sure am! This evening I'll be flying back home to England for three weeks. I can't wait to see my family and catch up with everyone! I'll still be posting. I've been flexing my organisation skills. ;) I've been contemplating a 'How to blog schedule' post, is that something that would interest you guys? Everyone does things differently.

I've done two manicures in the past of my experience travelling home. The first one I did I was hanging onto an areoplane. The second one I was riding a whaleboat across the sea.... This time I decided to go back to flying, its much faster and my hair doesn't get quite so wet. Also I'm on an evening flight so this way I can really enjoy the stars!

Plus there was room for my suitcase on this magical flying carpet!
If you are wondering why I don't have any shoes on... I didn't want to get any mud on my brand new carpet, ok?

For this manicure I began with my usual base coat, Mezmris Nail Lacquer's 'Armor Up' and once dry applied two coats of Barry M's 'White' (Well... barely. I am really low!! I'm pretty much making do with what I can to get some sort of base for freehand, lol.) I then applied a thin coat of my Pro-FX top coat to create a nice smooth barrier. Next I created an acrylic-gradient starting with a deep violet shade I mixed along the tops of my nails and fading into a light lilac on the tips.

Then I tried something new! I watered up my brush and added some glitter to the tops of my nails, I hoped it would add to the atmosphere of the sky. What do you guys think of this?? I created all the details with my favourite pure color brush in size #9 and finished it all off with my Mezmris Nail Lacquer top coat, 'Armor'.

I really like this 'How I travel' series.. I don't have one for when I return but I am going to make this a tradition from now on for my Amsterdam to Bristol travels!! I hope you enjoy seeing the different ways I travel!

Thank you for visiting today! Don't forget to share your opinion :)
Have a beautiful day, I'll be back on Sunday for some nail art fun!
Love
