Allo polish Pals!
Hope you've had a lovely week – yay
for the weekend! I'm still all upside down and feeling a little home
sick but I guess there's nothing better then to keep busy. I've
really been quite weird on the nail front too, I'm so unsure of
everything I create. But at least I have some more water decals to
show you. These are a full sheet of water decals from the one and
only Born Pretty Store. The ones I selected, are really quite
interesting!
Perfect gradient for those with longer nails. |

I've explained quite a few times now
how to apply water decals so I am going to assume we all know the
technique? If not, let me know and I'll explain it further ~ No trouble, my friends!
The water decals I chose have a really
interesting pattern, quite unlike anything I had seen before in terms
of water decals. It looks to me like glittering sand, large pieces of
shiny glass and glass hearts laying on the sand. Several of the
decals even have a sand to blue gradient going on which is really
pretty – I'm not displaying this since I did the dreadful task of
having to go short on my nails.
I'm going to say... These are not my
most favorite ever decals from The Born Pretty Store. I mean, they
are totally gorgeous in the packet but I feel like they just don't
'make sense' on my nails. This is of course just my opinion and if
you really like those artistic looking decals you will enjoy wearing
this! With the appearance taken into consideration I have nothing
really bad to say about these decals because just like the other
decals from the born pretty store they are just a breeze to apply. I
would say I find them easier to apply onto long nails – maybe
that's just me. I did say I've been a bit backwards!
What do you think of these
beachy/sand water decals? Have you tried decals from The Born Pretty Store?
Have a great day,
Love
Ithi
I love that they look like a cool beach, but I can see how it doesn't perfectly translate to the nail.
ReplyDeleteIt is really pretty, isn't it? I really do love the design but perhaps just not on my nails. Maybe my short stubby nails also don't help! xx
DeleteI totally agree with you about them looking amazing but not looking quite right on the nail! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad its not just me who see's it. It is a shame as the pattern itself is quite special. xx
DeleteI think they look really good as decals but yeah, maybe a bit odd on nails itself. It might be the pattern in the decals, that it's supposed to be a bt 3D but then on the nails the effect gets a bit lost :)
ReplyDeleteYES, Robin! My thoughts exactly. I think that may be what it is, 3D without being 3D! xx
Deleteahhh, again ? why do you feel unsure with nail art ?common... every your work is very nice Ithi ! dont be naughty girl ! it is brain therapy , our hobby and our hard work ! i appreciate every your work ! ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteI know, Bubica! I need more confidence. But this time I believe it is more the pattern then a reflection of my abilities. Thank you for always being so kind and supportive :) All ladies need polish pals like you! xx
