Wahoo, happy mid-way of the week to you
all! How are you doing today? I'm in a dandy mood today, yesterday
was really fun and it was nice to get out and socialize, I'm feeling
pretty healthy and generally in much better spirit! Today's manicure
is featuring gradients, gems and even DIY decals. Get ready for
something that might be considered OTT!
On all my nails I started with two
coats of Fogan's '#16' which is a beautiful rich purple. I then took
Model's Own 'Pinky Purple' and added this to the tips of my nails
creating a subtle gradient. I used the Cheeky Stamping plate #4 to
create some wavy decals in black using W7's 'Black. I applied these
on top of the gradient, leaving my thumb and ring-ding finger bare. I
finished up with my top coat and added some pink and black gems to my
plain nails.
It didn't come out as neat as
I had hoped... I see many flaws and its not a manicure I am feeling
particularly proud of. But I did love how pinky-brown looked on the
tips as a gradient. It was incredibly copper-y in the sunlight!
