Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? Are you
excited for the weekend?
I've got good news! My passport finally
came, wahooo! I'm not doing much this weekend, I think it'll be a
quiet one but that's fine with me. Do you have anything fun planned?
Have you heard of RCX Nails before?
When the lovely Rachel of RCX nail polishes saw my reply on twitter I
was delighted that she kindly allowed me to try out a couple of her
nail polishes.
I was so excited when the package hit
the carpet I did a little dance. I had no idea what polishes Rachel
had selected for me to try which made it even more fun but oh boy..!
Once I had freed them from their bubble wrap cages I was instantly in
love, so today I'll be showing you 'Land Of Waterfalls' and 'Wicked'.
Rachel has also very kindly given you all a whopping 20% off, use the code 'ITHFIFI20'
'Indie Nail Polish Hand Crafted With Love'
Let's start with 'Land Of Waterfalls'
shall we? This polish is a beautiful and bold blue with a hint of
green. I applied three coats to build up the opacity to how you see
it in my pictures. It was totally worth the extra coat. The colour is
gorgeous, fresh and vibrant with the most delicate silvedry
holographic shimmer through it. If you see my macro shot you'll see
just how delicate and subtle the shimmer is. I personally love how
this polish looks on my nails. It has such a flawless finish and had
the most amazing dry time.
Overall this is an absolute winner for those of you who love blue polishes, I'll probably be going for another bottle when my purse permits. The good thing about Rachel's store is that these polishes are so amazingly priced.
Onto 'Wicked'. This polish more than
lives up to its name. Looking at the polish in the bottle I had
assumed the result would be a dark grey/black polish with holo
running through it.. No.. no.. Wicked had me well and truly fooled
because this beautiful is a colour shifting temptress.
In different lighting my nails looked
incredibly more green with shifts of purple and slightly even
blue-ish tones. The holo effect is just beautiful and fits this
mysterious beauty perfectly, the scattered holo is just the right
amount of rainbowy love for this dark and alluring polish.
Again the dry time was incredible. As
with 'Land Of Waterfalls' I experienced no application issues and it
built up amazingly in 3-4 coats, again I would say it was totally
worth the extra coats and probably cost me about the same time as
standard polishes since it dries to well.
What Rachel has done is something that
is one of my secret pleasures.. You know when you look at a colour
and you think..”That's the perfect lagoon blue'.. or..'Isn't that
the most perfect post box red?' Both of these colours really suit
their names perfectly and I love
that.
Overall I am seriously impressed and I can only say positive things about RCX Nail polishes, My collection is going to need more, more, more!

Hi sweetie! Both nail polishes are pretty, maybe the darkest is more mysterious =)
ReplyDeleteSmuack! =)
OMG... I saw Land of the Waterfalls and thought: ooh, nice! And then I scrolled down, saw Wicked, searched for a link to the store and... it's not for sale at this moment! Will it appear? Can I get my hands on it? Questions, questions! The first one is very, very pretty (and it has that holo that is not just your favorite but mine as well ;) but that last one... I need it in my life! *suddenly realizes it may not be available outside the UK... doesn't want to think about that*
