Mont Bleu Swarovski Glass Nail Files

*This post contains items that were provided for reviewing purposes however I will as always give my full, honest and unbiased opinion.

Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? I hope you are having a fantastic week so far.
This week feels incredibly slow, like it is dragging on but before I know it, it will be over again!

Today I have a product review for you! Today I am reviewing crystal cut glass nail files and a cuticle pusher fit for the fanciest of princesses from Mont Bleu.

They have many beautiful designs and colour combinations over at their store. These get me excited for nail tools and doing a good pampering session! You can also find them over on their Amazon store and they have their own wholesale website too. They've also included a generous 20% discount for my lovely readers so please click the read more to continue!

As you may already know I am a huge fan of glass nail files. But I hate to assume one and all are the same.
Quality can differ greatly so I am delighted to tell you I am absolutely impressed with the quality of these!

These beautiful, beautiful nail files have a gorgeous dazzling touch with their trailing Swarovski crystal detailing along the handle; Why should a nail file be a standard plain nail file, anyway? They also feature beautiful green to natural glass gradients down the length of the files. There are loads of designs and colour combinations on the website.

My first thought was... “This isn't just a nail file. This is something a little special! - I wonder how comfortable it will be to hold with all the crystals on the handle”..

Needless to say I have the smoothest file I've ever had, I used the larger one first which is approximately around 13cm in length, a really good length for comfort of use but what really got me what how light weight it is and it has a decent thickness. The beast I have been using is pretty hefty and I do result in some hand cramping by the time I am done filing. No one likes claw hand. The crystals also prove not to interfere with the actual usage of the file. Both these files come in a luxurious velvet sheaf for good protection. A great bonus with these files is that they will pretty much last an entire lifetime with good care.

I basically did a little dance when I saw I had received a mini version too. How many times have you been on a bus, or out of the home and not broken a nail but felt a little snag against fabric or felt a rough edge? This diddy, cute little file is approximately around 9cm in length, perfect for that tiny little mystery pocket on the inside of my handbag (why do we all have that really random pocket not big enough for anything normal??)  In terms of practicality I absolutely love this nail file; And why stop at practicality when you can also give it a stunning and unique look. I'd say its pretty stylish looking.

I'm also in love with the cuticle pusher. If I am entirely honest with you... with my finances I've always sort of just added pieces of equipment as I've been able to – usually at low cost and what I've been able to get locally. The quality of this cuticle pusher is incomparable to the previous ones I have used which has consisted of very cheap plastic and solid, rigid rubber.

Not only does the Mont Bleu cuticle pousher have a beautiful glass handle but very high quality tips, perfect for gently pushing back soaked and primed cuticles without causing any damage. This is certainly going into the little collection of 'desk' worthy items I keep right on my painting station, I want it where I can grab it easily. I am so sure that my nail care regime is going to improve (and actually happen more often) with this dandy little helper.

So my other all thoughts? Seriously impressed. Move over old nail file, there's a new kid in town! And she does a beautiful job without causing hand cramps. I'm really digging all three of these items and I will be using them a lot from now on, that is my personal word to you. I like these enough that I will be using them from now on!

Have you guys ever tried glass nail files or do you prefer the traditional emery boards? If you are still using the cardboard ones I urge you to try a glass one. The difference is huge and you'll reduce trauma/snagging that the old fashioned ones can cause.

What do you think of these stylish nail files? How often do you tend to file your nails?

Have a beautiful day! I'll catch you again on Saturday for some more nail art fun!
Love
Ithi

  1. Ohhh... I'm so glad you've discovered these as well! I've been using Mont Bleu nail files for at least three years now and I can't even imagine myself going back to clipping my nails or using a cardboard file. Nope, nothing touches my nails but these crystal beauties. I have them all over the place (next to my bed, on my desk, in the kitchen, in my bag, you get the picture) and they make great stocking stuffers during the Holiday season :)
