Allo polish Pals!
How are you today? I hope your having a great weekend so far, whatever your plans may be! I can admit I am one cat short of being a crazy cat lady but something pretty funny happened today.. . There's a beautiful black cat right next to our local supermarket who I always stop to say hello to. I hadn't seen him for a few days but tonight Mr Bravo with his cat detecting skills pointed him out for me. In fact it was just a lady's hand bag on the ground. You know when you picture something in your head and you can't help but laugh? Mr Bravo turned and said to me “Maybe you've just been petting some poor woman’s purse all along” Anyway! Enough about my insanity, today I have a beautiful swatch and review from Zoya's Charla as chosen by the members on my facebook page.
Colour ~ Charla is a beautiful bewitching green which flashes wonderfully through to blue. I also think of two things when I see charla: The perfect peacock green and Wicked, the musical. You may also see a very delicate but very concentrated gold shimmer through out the polish. This polish doesn't shine, it gleams.
Application ~ Applies very smoothly, I have no issue with the application, no bubbles, no streaking. I applied two slick coats to get the full coverage you see.
Texture ~ I would say there is more of a thinner texture to this polish and I remember wondering how it would feel when I first purchased it, I wondered if it would feel grainy because of how shimmery/glittery it is but nope! It feels perfectly smooth!
★★★★★/5 Overall a really great polish. I know there any quite a few polish dupes in the lacquer world but do they have the same wonderful dry time? Do they get such nice compliments from people? I don't know but Charla really ticks all the boxes for me.
If I borrowed this from a friend would I go and buy myself a bottle? YES! Three words to sum this polish up? Bold, Dragon Scales, Glitterific.
Do you own Charla? Would you add this to your collection?
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Love
