Barry M: Green Berry Swatch & Review ★★★★/5

Allo polish Pals!
How has your new year been going so far? Hope you are all well! I have to say England's weather is a little disappointing but I guess I knew what to expect, there are many flood warnings in place and the weather makes me want to stick the fire on and curl up with a good book! Today I am showing you a swatch of one of Barry M's 'Gelly' polishes. The Gelly polishes are a huge favorite of mine since I first tried them and while I am home I was lucky enough to have a few come my way. Here's 'Green Berry'.

Colour ~ Green Berry is slightly hard to describe. I'd have to say it leans somewhere between spearmint, aqua and clover green. What a combination! Its perfectly vibrant and I can't wait to pair this with so many different colours.

Application ~ Dreamy, it applies very smoothly and is *quite self leveling. However if you apply your second coat a moment too soon you will get bubbles (which I encountered due to lack of patience and time) and a little too much polish on the brush will throw any self leveling out the window. Basically, if you think about what your doing and take time there's no problem :) I would consider dry time to be reasonable for how this polish applies and wears.

Texture ~ Rather on the thick side since they are considered 'Gelly' but its a wonderful texture and formula to work with.

★★★★/5 Green Berry is a gorgeous and unusual shade which has caused me to receive a lot of flattering comments from friends and family, its beautifully eye catching and I just love the intense shine that comes from the Gelly polishes from Barry M.

If I borrowed this from a friend would I go and buy myself a bottle? If I had nothing similar with such a beautiful shine I would indeed.

Have you tried any of the Barry M Gelly collection? What do you think of this shade?

Have a dandy day!
Love
Ithi

  4. I love this kind of soft blue-ish green. Recently I bought a few Barry M. polishes (also Lycheed which you showed recently) and am looking forward to try them. The weather in Germany is getting better and its getting warmer here.
