The Little Snow Cat

Allo polish Pals! Hows your weekend going? Tonight all the guys are off out to play darts so I'm going to be sad and rehome my nail polish collection! There's something satisfying about sorting them all out in colour order... Today I'm showing you a manicure I created last week using acrylic paints. I'm not too happy about the outcome but I love the reason why I wanted to create it. This is a tribute to my beautiful little black cat, Mars (Marshall) who I am excited to see next week when I go back to England! I've included pictures so please click 'read more' for the full post

For this manicure I used two coats of Paris Memories, I'm not sure which number but its a dove grey/blue. I then added Ozotic Sugar '903' to the times to give a beautiful frosty shimmer. Using acrylic paints, brushes and dotting tools I created the freehand art.
Like I said I'm not too taken with how it looks but I'm glad with the idea. Now.. I'd like to introduce you to Mars!

I adopted Mars when I moved away from home when I was 19(?) I saw him in an awful pet shop and just knew that would be the start of something sweet. He was in a small cage with two baby rabbits, two other kittens and three or four guinea pigs, cruel huh? He was very clingy, cuddley and very chatty, following me everywhere I went. Once I got out the shower and was expecting him to be outside waiting for me like normal but much to my surprise I turn around and he's paddling in the shower, later on I’d discover that he actually crosses the stream behind my garden to go into the field behind it! I was going through a really rough time and I know that having each other certainly made life so much better. When I had to move back with my parents Mars became good friends with my golden retriever Charlie and my sister's dog Enzo. Strangely enough he gets on really well with dogs, more so than cats. While I miss Mars so much now I am in Holland I know he has a wonderful life in England. Mars and my dad are the best of buddies, Mars will happily sit on my dads shoulders while he's on the computer, just like he used to with me and if my dad is in the garden Mars is always with him. Mars even keeps my dad company while he is working on his rally car. So I just can not wait to see him again.

Hope you enjoyed this unusual post!
Have a great Saturday,

Love
Ithi
