China Glaze: Classic Caramel Swatch & Review ★★★★/5

Allo polish Pals!
How are you today? I've been quite productive today and tonight I'm carrying it on! I'm on a roll! So since Mr Bravo is out playing a darts match tonight I have decided to opt for an evening catching up on my shows and of course nail painting! Today I have a nummy yummy swatch for you of China Glaze's 'Classic Caramel' from the Vintage Vixen collection.

Colour ~ I'm going to be honest and say that when I first purchased Classic Caramel last year I wasn't quite sure what to think. However the six months we spent apart after my move to Holland has completely changed that. I'm now viewing this with a whole new love. The colour reminds me of a warm peanut butter colour which has a super fine golden shimmer to it.
Now I am envisioning this with chocolate shades for a truly yummy manicure!

Application ~ Just dandy, my first coat wasn't covering perfectly but the second coat took total care of that. I also noticed it seemed to self level its self out nicely. I had no issues with bubbles or streaks.

Texture ~ Like many of the China Glaze polishes the texture is fabulous, it applies like melted butter... there fore it goes on very smoothly.

★★★★/5 I love it. Why? I don't think I often come across many shades like this and I like diversity! The application and dry time is great, the colour is unique and I love the subtle shimmer.

If I borrowed this from a friend would I go and buy myself a bottle? Yes because chances are I/you may not have a similar shade to this.

What do you think of Classic Caramel? Have you found any similar shades to this?

Love

  4. Such a weird shade but I still don't got something like this in my stash and therefore I want it. It's a fugly color and pea nut butter seems like a good match, or perhaps butter scotch. And your ideas to dress is up in chocolate colored polish like your ice cream nail art you showed previously sounds like such a great combination! :D
