Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing today? I hope you are all having a great weekend?
I'm not up to much this weekend, I'll be working out, spending time with my family (I'm soaking them up after missing them so much in Holland, I'm enjoying even the smallest things like cups of tea with my sister!) Hopefully there will be a little painting time at some point!
Today I am taking a look at two more
products from the Born Pretty Store, when I saw these I just knew I
wanted to try them together! They are Semi Transparent White Opal Jelly Nail Polish (5gm) and 'Rose Gold Mixed Deocations Nail Art Wheel'.
I wanted to do this manicure because I liked how my bear nail art looked. If you missed that post you can see it here.
This 5gram polish come in another
adorably cute pot, this time featuring a sweet little sheep. On
opening the pot there is foil which I did struggle to remove all the
way around the edges but it didn't worry me too muc
h. The polish
itself is actually a very fluid consistency and appears as a very
milky white. I'm also really happy with the amount of product in the pot.
To wear this polish I first applied my
peel off base coat and allowed to try. I then added 3 thin coats of
this nail polish using an old cosmetics brush and curing between each
thin coat. I finally added one thin coat of my Born Pretty Store gel
top coat and sealed for a final time.
My general conclusion of this polish is
that its pretty good! I had no real application issues, I like the
look it had on my nails and was incredibly glossy. So far I am really
enjoying these types of gel polishes.
On to the studs! These little beauties
come in your standard nail art decoration wheel and are a very
delicate looking rose gold colour. I think it was the colour that
made me want to try them most because I hadn't seen many studs in
this sort of colour. The wheel contains a really nice range of
different shades which you'll see to the left. My favourite are the
stars, they are so cute! But I also really like the variations of
triangles, hollow shapes and the fact that some have a sort of
textured look to them.
All in all I really like this nail art
wheel – I am always careful about nail art wheels these days are so
many are similar to what I have in my collection but this one stands
out nicely and I know I'll be coming back to use it in the future!
What do you guys think of my
sheep recreation? Would you try these products?
Have an awesome day and enjoy the rest of your weekend. Thank you for
visiting! I'll see you again on Monday!
Love
Ithi
Its so cute. I love that you painted the sheep on the label :D
ReplyDeleteAwe...the sheep is so cute! I also like both products you showed. ;)
ReplyDeleteI think this one is perfect for negative space manis ☺
ReplyDeleteThat's a super cute sheep!! The mani would also work for Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteGreat mani! I'm not into sheer polish normally but I love how this one looks on you, so milky and soft. The studs are beautiful, too. But that sheep! It's perfect, I've been sitting here several minutes trying to figure out if that's a decal :'D perfect job :)
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and I love that little guy!
ReplyDeleteWow..it looks like you have stamped that sheep directly from a lid of pot. Such a precise freehand. I love the entire look of this mani. Those studs are really very very pretty. Very good choice of gel and studs dear. :-)
