Allo polish Pals!
How are you all doing
today? Did you have a great weekend?
I spent most of Saturday organising my room, going through the boxes of things I had sent home. I'm actually impressed with how much polish was here waiting for me and not a single break! I should get a job in shipping and packing! I've got an Ikea helmer on the way and I can't wait to give them a proper home.
I've had time to just chill in the garden, I literally spent half an hour just enjoying the beautiful surrounding nature, I went out walking with my parents, out to dinner, I've already had chance to do some upcoming nail art too.. I feel so much more peaceful. Its like the noise in my head has had the volume switched off.
This morning.. I get to surprise Emilia! My 5 year old niece doesn't know I am home yet! She comes to my mums house most mornings before school. She has breakfast here and then mum drives her to school on her way to work - this is going to be an EPIC surprise.

NAILS?! Are good for some nails now? Today's nailart is once
again inspired by the weekly challenge over on Tiny Canvas. Our
current running theme is crab/hermit crab nail art. I decided to
create a king of the castle crab who I am naming Timothy!
I'm not super happy
with how this manicure turned out. The acrylic-gradient was a lot
stronger in person but in my photo's I feel like the colour
transition is just too subtle.
I did the usual for
this manicure (I'm sorry I'm being terribly vague – I am writing
this the day before flying home – if you saw Saturday's post it'll
make more sense.) I also didn't really like how Timothy turned out
but hey. Can't win them all!
MORE importantly what
do you guys think of this nailart?
Have you had
crab nails before? What is your fave sea creature?
Thank you for visiting
today :) I hope you have an awesome day, Come stop by on Wednesday
for some more naily fun!
Love,
Ithi
Cutesy again and so summery :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Timothy doesn't mind what he looks like, he's just happy to have his place in the spotlight and he makes me smile so just that should be proof you didn't do bad... at all ;)
ReplyDeleteHow did your niece react when she saw you? I know mine would have been nailed to the floor and completely stunned if I showed up unannounced when they were that age. Now that they're almost adults (in their mind at least, they're 12 and 10) they just say Hi, ask for something to eat and fiddle on with their mobile phones ;)
wow ..they look so real
ReplyDeleteAlways impressed by your nailart haha, I say this everytime but wow gurl xD
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that "King" crab is stealing my heart. I love a good pun, and I love a good nail art, and this is both. ;) Seriously cute.
ReplyDeleteI love the little crown! So adorable!
ReplyDeleteWow that's a lovely mani. I am sure that your little niece is going to have a lovely time with her aunt. :-)
