Allo polish Pals!
How are you doing
today? Holland is hot hot hot! Is it hot where you are? House work
needs to be undertaken during the morning when its cooler, the
afternoons are for melting into a cold puddle on the floor. Ithi puddle, nice... Its also not ideal for nail
art, especially not decals who want to sort of... melt during
application! Still – You gotta make the most of these situations!
Today I have the second to last set of floral decals from the
C112-C115 mixed floral decal sheet
from The Born Pretty Store. This is C113.
I decided to pair this one with some nail art.

Once again I find
myself wondering what I can tell you that wont be simply explained by
the pictures. These are just as beautiful as the previous two floral
patterns I have shown you. All are incredibly perfect for the summer
months.
This set of decals is a
mixture of red, green and yellow patterned flowers and leaves. There
are also different shaped flowers on the pattern. I decided to pair
it with a stunning red, white and a hint of green on my thumb and
ring finger. I used Fearne's 'Cherry On Top', create a white ruffian
with Barry M's 'White' and added a very thin border around it with
some green acrylic paint. I topped it all off with a little stud in
the center.
What do you
think of these decals? What nail art styles do you like to pair with
decals?
Have a beautiful day!
Love
Ithi

ReplyDeleteThank you, Simona! xx
DeleteGreat placing of the decals. I struggle a bit with full nail decals.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sarcasticbynature, I sometimes struggle with that too, If I can get the placement right on the first attempt I know I am safe but it is reposistioning that I find gives me the worst trouble! xx
DeleteBTW here is utterly hot too! however it "seems" there'll be a thunderstorm this evening so tomorrow will be cooler (hopefully). And ofcourse, the only nail art that could be undertaken in this heat is "sponging" anything else will blob and bubble and never dry!
ReplyDeleteI feel your paint, I've been suffering with bubbles too, its far too hot in our room not to have the fan on but the fan creates problems! I hope it is a little cooler there now! xx
DeleteThe floral decal is sooo pretty and delicate and I like very much your thumb and ring finger nail art. It goes perfectly together with the decals! Great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Andrea, I really wanted to add something besides just the decals, I am glad you think it works well together! xx
DeleteBeautiful mani! These decals remind me of the wallpaper we used to have in our summer house when I was little. Good memories! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Emelie! I'm so glad it had nostalgic feelings for you! I think these floral prints have a tendancy to do that! xx
Deleteamazing design Ithi, light and delicate- I love it <3
ReplyDeleteThank you, Fife! <3
DeleteI love it! Especially the accent nails! They look fabulous. 😍
ReplyDeleteHere in Munich it is extremely hot too. You can barely move without melting away...
BTW I am stuck to the sofa right now (feels like my Skin is Glued to the leather) and have no choice but reading some blogposts!
